EXCITING NEWS The Contortionist and I will be traveling to Fort Worth Texas to participate in the TV pilot filming of PROJECT COWBOY! Find out more about this at www.ProjectCowboy.net We are back safe and sound :) This was an awesome experience, well worth the big trip! We met so many interesting and talented people and horses. Big learning experience on how to travel cross country with your horse.. and I made the trip out solo!! I'd like to thank Tawnya and Linda for all thier helpout there and with the trip home, we were exhausted... but still pumped, it really was so much fun! It was great to see Jack and visit a bit. It was pretty cool riding into that big arena the first time, felt like being in a gladiator ring. Would have been fun to have been able to make it into the arena for the third time... there is next year ;) But for now I have set my sights on the big ACTHA tv event. Try outs are in early April .. this time closer, in central NY. But the finals are in Texas! Promises to once again be a wicked fun adventure. The best part of all these adventures is that my awesome partner L'eggs gets to join me, he is 20 yrs old this year! My AQHA stallion THE CONTORTIONIST has been with me since he was 3. Always willing and eager to "get 'er done" lol But I do have to admit our lifetime highlight was at an advanced horsemanship clinic when Jack Brainard said he thought L'eggs was the best broke, best bred stallion he knew and he'd have him on his place....only younger lol A compliment for a truely great horse!
